Ventura Modern Quilt Guild is a place to connect with other quilters who gravitate toward a contemporary or modern aesthetic. The guild includes quilters of all skill levels who enjoy sharing their knowledge, creating in this vibrant medium, and just talking quilts. Our monthly meetings and other activities are a great way to become a part of this quilting community.
When you join a local modern quilt guild, you automatically become a member of the international organization, Modern Quilt Guild (MQG). This connects you with members from around the world and provides access to the many resources and creative opportunities of MQG.
Everyone is welcome to attend a regular members’ meeting, free of charge, to see what we’re all about, and you can join VMQG at any time during the year.
For current members, membership renewal starts in November. We urge everyone to renew their membership by the end of December. This will allow the VMQG Board to assess the funds available and plan speakers and programming for the new year.
Dues are $50 and there are several payment options for becoming a VMQG member:
1) Pay in person at a members’ meeting with cash, check, or charge (Convenience Fee added on charges)
2) By mail– make your $50 check out to VMQG & send to:
