December 11, 2017 Meeting

Good  Evening,

It is with a heavy heart that I write to you all tonight.  Ventura County and our sister counties of Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and San Diego have been hit hard with fires, power outages, loss of homes, and evacuations.  We all know people that have been impacted, if not impacted ourselves.
In light of this, we are canceling the December member meeting.  We want to move the festivities to January.  Everything we were planning to do in December, we will do in January.  The swaps, games, food and fellowship.  Let’s concentrate on getting life close to normal and in January we will celebrate health, happiness and the new year.

We have ideas for donation for victims of the fires.  Scott will be publishing a quilt block that we can put out there to our quilt family and help provide some comfort to those in need.  If you are looking for more ways to donate or volunteer, you can go to readyventuracounty.org for information.

Wishing you all the best during this challenging time.  Please let me know if there are questions and/or concerns.  I am hopeful that you and yours are safe and healthy.

Tisha
