I am thrilled to see 10 of our VMQG members excited to participate in the Madrona Road challenge! All participants should now have their fabrics in hand. Your quilting assignment is to create a modern quilted item by January 31st (for consideration for the Michael Miller booth at Quiltcon) or as close to that date as possible. Your project can include more of the Madrona Road collection by Violet Craft, as well as any solids. The solid included in your bundle is Michael Miller’s Cotton Couture in Straw. From the Kona solids, we also like Yarrow, Charcoal, Candy Blue, and Delft Blue.
Good quality photographs of your project (in progress and/or completed) should be uploaded to the MQG Madrona Road Challenge Flickr Group. If you do not yet have a Flickr account, please contact Kelly or Andres for assistance in uploading your photos via the VMQG Flickr account. Only projects uploaded to the Flickr group will be considered for the Michael Miller QuiltCon booth. I will update this post with any additional information as it comes in.
